Divorce from wife
On his own behalf, Akan Sataev spoke about his recent divorce from Nazira Bakaeva in a frank conversation with Dinara Satzhan. He reflected on their first meeting in 1992 while filming Allazhar, their subsequent marriage and the journey together that brought them five children and 25 years of marriage. Despite the longevity of their relationship, the couple mutually decided to leave. Sataev emphasized their adult, blame-free approach to divorce and communicated openly with his children, reassuring them of the unchanging parental roles. He decided to announce the divorce on Instagram to curb the narrative and prevent rumors, confirming that the split was amicable and both parties wished each other the best. Sataev said that love still has a place in their lives, although the internal dynamics in their relationship led to their separation. His children showed understanding and acceptance of the situation.
