early years

Bauyrzhan Islamkhan was born in 1993 in Shymkent and was actively involved in sports from an early age. Initially attracted to martial arts, he showed a strong affinity for taekwondo. His entry into football was accidental and was caused by an injury received during martial arts training.

Carier start

In February 2013 year, he set off on a new journey with Kuban of the Russian Premier League, signing a three-year contract. Negotiations led to a payment of $200 for his transfer to the Krasnodar club. After a stint in the reserve team, he heeded the advice of Astana head coach Miroslav Beranek and took out a six-month loan to further develop. The following year in February, Almaty “Kairat” achieved the transfer of Islamkhan from “Kuban”, tying him to a new three-year contract. Bauyrzhan quickly achieved success, scoring twice against his childhood club Taraz. That season, his team finished third in the league and won the Kazakhstan Cup, beating Aktobe 000–4. The young athlete was lucky and received the position of captain in 2015. As captain, Islamkhan scored seven goals in 29 matches. His leadership was crucial as Kairat took league silver and won the Kazakhstan Cup again, this time beating Astana 2-1, although they narrowly missed out on the Super Cup in a tense penalty shootout.
