Mining black gold in Kazakhstan!

Today there are 33 coal mining companies operating in Kazakhstan. The largest of them are: Bogatyr Access Komir LLP, Eurasian Energy Corporation OJSC.

Promising coal deposits include Alakolskoye and Kendyrykskoye in East Kazakhstan region, Mamytskoye in Western Kazakhstan, Oykaragayskoye in southeastern Kazakhstan, Priozernoye in Kostanay region. The Birshogyr and Zhaisan deposits were discovered in the Aktobe region. Every year, the coal industry is developing faster and faster in Kazakhstan, this is due to the greater need for thermal and electrical energy. The main volume of exports falls on the CIS countries, as well as Romania, Poland, and Turkey.
