Ivan Dychko - famous professional boxer from Kazakhstan, born on August 11, 1990 in the city of Rudny, located in the Kustanai region of the former Kazakh SSR. Early years

Ivan was born to parents Fyodor Ivanovich and Olga Vladimirovna and spent his early years in the small village of Taranovskoye, and at the age of six he moved to Rudny. The Dychko family faced economic difficulties and lived in various rented houses until Ivan's boxing career allowed him to buy a house and a new car for his parents, upgrading to an old Niva. His academic path included studying at school No. 6 named after Zh. Nurmaganbetov, and then at gymnasium No. 10. Moving to the USA

He moved to Florida and in 2017 signed a contract with American promotion company Heavyweight Factory. During that year, they organized several fights for him, in each of which he won by knockout. Over the next two years, Ivan fought nine fights in the United States.

In 2021, he fought twice in Kazakhstan - defeating Denis Bakhtov and Alexander Ustinov by knockout, maintaining his perfect record in professional boxing. Now his supporters are eagerly awaiting his next big title fight.

Parents and personal life

Ivan's father served as a driver, and his mother worked as a psychologist in a kindergarten. His brother Ilya settled in St. Petersburg, and Vladimir lives in Chelyabinsk. Ivan's family remains a strong support force, diligently monitoring his boxing progress and providing him with moral support after each match. Despite his fame, Ivan remained down to earth, sticking to simple culinary preferences such as pumpkin manti, various meat dishes, stewed potatoes and herring in a fur coat.

The personal side of Ivan's life blossomed when he met Marina in 2011 at a travel agency while planning a trip. It was Marina who facilitated his travel plan, and what began as a professional conversation blossomed into a deep romantic connection a few years later. Surprised by the prospect of marrying an athlete, Marina initially thought that Ivan could become a basketball or volleyball player. The couple got engaged in March 2014, and three months later celebrated their union with a wedding, which Marina remembers as enchanting. In the same year, their daughter Miroslava was born. Marina speaks of Ivan as a loving husband and father, always ready to take part in household chores, take care of his daughter or fix things around the house. Their love of exploration has taken them to many places around the world, and they settled in Florida, where Ivan continues his studies.

Status for 2024

By the end of 2023, after his eleventh professional fight, Ivan is seen as a significant contender among the new generation of heavyweight boxers ready to compete for world titles. As of February 2023, he is ranked #49 by BoxRec, down slightly from #43 after his last fight. The competition among Kazakh boxers remains tough, with Zhan Kosobutsky ranked 32nd.
