Each country has its own achievements, idols, record holders and other talented people. There are such people in Kazakhstan, a country in Central Asia; there are also those who are included in the honorary Guinness Book of Records.
First, a little history about this book. At the beginning, the creation of this book, if you can call it that in those days, it was a kind of reference book where various achievements were recorded; in the first month the book was sold with a circulation of 5000 copies. To this day, this book is published in more than 100 countries in 23 languages.

In 2010 The World Weightlifting Championships took place in Turkey, at which our Kazakhstani Maya Maneza in the weight category up to 63 kilograms set a world record by lifting 143 kg in the clean and jerk.
- And in 2012, Ilya Ilyin set a world record by lifting a 418-kilogram barbell in total (snatch + clean and jerk). Here they are Kazakh weightlifters!
- People in Kazakhstan love to eat delicious food)! especially national Kazakh food. The longest horse meat sausage, 100 meters long, was registered on behalf of Kazakhstan and this achievement belongs to Bolat Beineuly and Gulzat Azanbekkyzy. This sausage, or as it is also called kazy in common people, weighs one ton.
- Many people associate Kazakhstan with dombra, and so here is another achievement of the Kazakh dombra players who set a record for performing the folk kui “Kenes”, this kui was performed by 10 thousand dombra players.
- And the smallest dombra belongs to Bolatbek Karimkhanuly, Bolatbek is ethnically Kazakh and lives in China. Bolatbek made the smallest dombra, the length of which is 45 millimeters and the width is 14 millimeters.
- And finally, “Kara Zhorga”. In 2012, a record was set for the most massive performance of the dance “Kara Zhorga,” which is the national dance of Kazakhstan. This event took place in the already known “Khan Shatyr”.
