Virtual numbers in Kazakhstan: what are they for?

In Kazakhstan, virtual telephony is gaining popularity. A virtual Voip number is a process of exchanging data between users located in different locations. Typically, such a place is the Internet and even individual websites. Depending on the selected voice communication method, there may be multiple users on this network.

Why do Kazakh companies choose this type of communication with clients?

This type of communication has a number of advantages over regular calls. It allows you not only to send and receive calls, but also to make voicemail, make video calls and much more.

  • Voip is a virtual phone number. It is virtual, because it cannot be registered in any stationary or mobile device, but can be obtained from any computer anywhere in the world.
  • When using virtual telephony, a separate working line for calls is created. Each person can use it to call and talk directly with whomever he wants.
  • This service was invented quite a long time ago, but it entered the market not so long ago.

There are two types of virtual telephony. The first type implies the fact that the client will be provided with a number that is tied to a specific provider. Therefore, each company or organization will need its own number. It is worth noting that virtual communication is a service that has access to the Internet. If it is not possible, then routers that have a modem connection come to the rescue. A cable is used to connect them to the network. This point does not affect the quality of communication.

How is virtual telephony used?

It is also worth noting that the Internet connection can be made via a cable connection or over the air (via WiFi). This will depend on what system the client is working with. Typically, a cable connection is faster than a wireless connection. However, it is worth considering that this increases the cost of services.

Virtual PBX

The second type of virtual communication is a virtual PBX, in which the telephone number will belong to the subscriber. This type of communication has its pros and cons. One of the advantages is that the call will take place via the Internet. In this case, the telephone operator does not know who the calling subscriber belongs to. The disadvantages include the fact that calls will cost more than when using regular telephony.

A virtual PBX number can be linked to any operator, but in order to receive it you will need to sign an agreement with the provider. There is a possibility to choose a number. The client can choose it himself. This is usually done in the settings.
