Main requirements for writing and formatting a scientific article

A scientific article is a written report that briefly contains the main results of the work, statements of research conducted, as well as the results and their detailed analysis with mandatory conclusions. Its main task is to highlight as accurately as possible the main research that was carried out in the scientific field chosen by the author; this work is also necessary in order to make the researcher popular among his more eminent colleagues.

There are no standard requirements for its volume; all that is necessary is to describe the selected problem in as much detail as possible, and also talk in detail about the work on it. It is imperative to draw conclusions and justify the correctness of the results. There is an unspoken recommendation from the editors of publications that publish these scientific works: it is best to stick to a volume of two to thirty pages.

There are three main types of scientific articles:

• — a review, which tells different opinions of studies on the issue that is being raised, which the author is obliged to comment on reasonedly;
• — articles that provide an analysis of the theoretical patterns of research that will serve as a springboard for further activities in this area;
• — practical, the essence of which boils down to performing all the necessary experimental studies in order to obtain clear practical results and describe them as specifically as possible.

The title of a scientific article should convey the main idea of ​​this document as clearly as possible. In the final part, it is necessary to make a general conclusion on the research topic as concisely as possible. Also, this scientific work must be prepared in accordance with all the rules and have a list of references, as well as all the necessary applications referred to by the researcher in this work. Often, the publication provides its own design rules.

Basic requirements for a HAC article and their differences from scientific ones

Providing a VAK article is one of the main requirements for scientists applying for an academic degree; without fulfilling this mandatory requirement, the applicant will not be allowed to defend.
This work must be written and executed strictly in accordance with the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission. It is worth noting that the standard rules may differ slightly not only from the scientific journal chosen for publication, but also from the topic of the dissertation research.

The volume of this scientific work is from eight to ten pages; if it is different, it will be considered a gross mistake.

Also, the work should have a clear structure:

• — the title of the document, because this is one of the key factors on which its relevance will depend;
• — an abstract in which the author must clearly characterize the problem under study and its degree of relevance in a particular scientific field;
• - the presence of keywords and phrases; without a semantic core it will not be accepted. After all, keywords and phrases are not only search queries, but also a kind of list of the author’s thoughts and main ideas of the article;
• - main sections: introduction, main part, conclusion and list of references used (they should be basic, because their permissible number is no more than ten);
• The final part should contain concise conclusions on the research topic.
