The second stage is the preparation of a master's degree, which is completed in 2 years. Obtaining such a diploma allows you to work in universities and engage in various scientific and research activities.

Graduates of pedagogical universities who get a job must provide not only a diploma of their education, but also pass a specially designed test.

The Minister of Education points out that for students who have completed all 4 courses at a university and acquired the necessary knowledge, passing the test will not be difficult. Graduates who do not have the appropriate knowledge will not be allowed to work.

The Minister of Education also noted that the selection of not only teachers and applicants, but also universities, is being tightened. Previously, teachers were trained for 86 universities in the country, but after inspections, more than 30 higher education institutions lost their licenses.

Increase in salaries for teachers in Kazakhstan in 2022

From the beginning of 2022, a master teacher in Kazakhstan receives a salary of 466 thousand tenge, an expert from 390 thousand tenge, a moderator within 340 thousand tenge, and a young teacher who does not have a category, about 266 thousand tenge.

It is worth noting that in 2020 and 2021 the government has already increased the salaries of all teachers. Every year it increases by 25%, so in 2022 teachers receive a salary that is 2 times higher than the salary in 2020.
