Akkergeshyn Plateau

Chalk outcrops are located in the middle of wild nature, where there are a large number of caves, monuments named after them Akkeregeshin and Aktolagai, Mount Imankare.

The Akkergenshen plateau is located 56 km north-east of the village of Kulsary in the Atyrau region. When walking along the Akkergeshin plateau, you can find extinct animals, sea urchins, and various remains of marine animals. The Akkergeshin plateau is famous for its large amount of chalk sediment and the presence of various remains of marine animals on the plateau. Opposite the rocks of 3 Bogatyrs, you can see a panorama of chalk outcrops. This excursion is intended for those who love exotic things, something unusual, or are simply interested in geology and paleontology. When you first come to the Akkeregeshin chalk outcrops, you can’t tear yourself away from the bizarre weathered snow-white rocks for a long time. There is unusual silence and whiteness here.
