Tourism in Kazakhstan: where to find money to visit everything?

Mighty mountains, lakes, canyons, sea and wide wild steppes - this is all about Kazakhstan. A large country at the junction of Europe and Asia, combining eastern tranquility and western luxury with carefully preserved traditions. Hundreds of cultures and nationalities have coexisted harmoniously in Kazakhstan for many centuries, making the country multifaceted and unique. It always warmly welcomes its guests, and natural and man-made, historical and modern monuments give many vivid emotions.

In this article you will learn about 5 places that are worth visiting as a tourist. All of them are located in two leading cities of the country - Nur-Sultan and Almaty. We will also tell you where you can get money for a trip if you have been dreaming of a trip for a long time, but don’t have enough money.

If you lack several tens of thousands of tenge for a trip, or suddenly run out of money during a trip and have no one to borrow from, you can always use an online loan on an MFO card with the most favorable lending conditions. You can apply for a loan online in absolutely any region of the country around the clock, and there is also no need to go for money, since it is issued to the card you specified, which any traveler should have at hand.

Also, one of the main advantages of applying for an online loan while traveling is that you can get it instantly (literally in 15 minutes), without collecting any documents: all you need is a photo of your passport (without which you can’t go on a trip) , mobile phone and bank card. In addition, if you have never used the services of an MFO before, you have a great opportunity to get an online loan without interest (many MFOs have a promotion for new clients - the first loan at 0,01%).

You can get an instant loan on your card online for up to a month (you will have just enough time to relax without thinking about finances, and upon arrival home, repay the borrowed amount without overpayments). There is also no need to report on what the borrowed money will be used for, since online loans are not targeted funds, that is, you can easily spend them both on paying for a hotel and on souvenirs for your relatives and friends.

So, Nur-Sultan: what to visit in the capital?

One of the interesting facts about Nur-Sultan is that this city was previously called Astana. Now the city has become a symbol of progress and modern architecture. Although there are no historical ancient monuments here, there is still something to see and where to go.

Our top opens with one of the symbols of the modern capital - the Baiterek Tower. This is a 105-meter structure rising on the main square of the city. Because of its unique shape, it is popularly called “chupa-chups”. Anyone can admire the tower while walking along the nearby pedestrian zone. If you want to go inside, there is an underground level under the monument where there is a gallery, souvenir shops and a cafe. It is also worth looking into the upper part of the structure, which looks like a golden ball. Here, on the 86th floor, there is the best observation deck in the city, where you can see all its beauty at once. You will be taken up by a high-speed elevator, the shaft of which runs through the entire structure.

To see many of the city’s attractions and immerse yourself in the color, it’s worth visiting Nurzhol Boulevard. It begins with the Ak-Orda presidential residence and ends with the Khan Shatyr shopping center. This is a large, beautiful pedestrian area in the center of the capital, belonging to the modern part of the city, and an ideal place for long walks and exploring Nur-Sultan. The boulevard is divided into three levels. The lower level is the road and parking lot. If you are tired and want to eat or want to have fun, then you should pay attention to the average level. The third level is for lovers of walking, where there are many fountains, sculptures and benches. This boulevard is also called water-green because the buildings here are painted blue-green, there are also many trees, perfect lawns and flower alleys, and the fountains delight with their beauty. Bold architectural solutions immerse you in the aesthetics of the future. A popular place among tourists is the Keruen shopping center, where you can buy souvenirs and clothes, have a snack and just relax. Each building and each attraction on the water-green boulevard is unique and individually designed.

Another place you can visit in Nur-Sultan is the Khazret Sultan Mosque. This is one of the greatest shrines in Asia; ten thousand believers can pray here. The majestic building is quite young, it began its historical countdown only in 2012, but it has already sunk into the soul of millions of tourists and is considered the main mosque of the capital. The grandiose building made of white marble is decorated both outside and inside with traditional Kazakh ornaments and voluminous decor. The largest dome, 51 meters high, ends in a spire with a crescent. In front of the main entrance you will see fountains and stunning flower beds. It is especially beautiful here at night, when the lights turn on, and then the mosque resembles a fairy-tale oriental palace. There is also a restaurant here, iftars (evening meals during the month of Ramadan), charity dinners and wedding celebrations are held here.

Soul of Kazakhstan - Almaty

Almaty is a huge metropolis, during its existence it managed to be a military fortification and had the status of the capital of the country. It is a cultural and economic center. If you choose one place to get to know the country, then any Kazakh citizen will advise you to go here. Folk songs and modern pop live here, and traditional kumiss is drunk along with fashionable filter coffee.

You can spend an unusual family weekend in Kok-Tobe. This is one of the main attractions of Almaty. In the past, the peak was called Vyrygin Mountain. You can get to it by car, by cable car or even on foot. From observation platforms at an altitude of 1130 meters, you can see picturesque views of the city and the greenery of the Tien Shan mountain range, especially beautiful at night. Kok-Tobe has many cultural and entertainment places. For example, an art gallery, a wishing fountain made in the shape of an apple, a petting zoo where everyone can pet deer, an observation wheel and a roller coaster with stunning views of the city. For fans of The Beatles, a monument was unveiled here in 2007.

Those who are interested in historical and cultural attractions should visit the Holy Ascension Cathedral in Almaty. This is the tallest Orthodox wooden church in the world; 1800 believers can pray inside. The bright and spacious building of the tsarist era is a unique monument of wooden architecture in the Ukrainian Baroque style. Inside, the walls are decorated with colorful frescoes and a painted iconostasis. It is interesting that craftsmen from Ukraine and other countries worked on the interior decoration of the cathedral. It was very risky to build a tall wooden temple, where an earthquake could occur at any moment. Fortunately, the temple withstood the earthquake test with dignity, only the corner of the bell tower sank slightly and the glass was broken. Despite the height of the building, it turned out to be very resistant to destruction and damage. During Soviet times, the cathedral housed a museum, and the bell tower was used as the first radio station in Kazakhstan. Only in 1995 were services resumed in the cathedral.

Each tourist has his own travel route, from entertainment in the shopping center to walks in the park. Asia is rich in tourist locations.
