But the most interesting thing is that the lake has a second half; after walking along the gorge about five hundred meters you will find another lake. Walking along the shore of Lake Saura, you will probably meet marsh turtles who have chosen the lakes for their homes. The limestone rocks surrounding the lake “shed tears” and the water dripped on the stone. According to local belief, the lake can cure childlessness, so here you can meet pilgrims who make their ritual circles around the lake. The Caspian seashore is located very close to the lake.
